REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes your rights and options with respect to refunds, returns, and cancellations for products and services purchased through Adegen LLC ("Adegen," "we," "us," or "our") at adegen.com (the "Site"). This policy is incorporated by reference into and forms part of our Terms of Service and Subscription Terms.
Because Adegen sells both prescription medications and over-the-counter products, and because prescription medications are prepared specifically for individual patients by a licensed compounding pharmacy, different refund and return rules apply to different product categories. Please read this policy carefully and in full before making a purchase.

1. PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION POLICY
1.1 No Returns on Dispensed Prescription Medications
PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DISPENSED AND SHIPPED BY THE APPLICABLE LICENSED PHARMACY ARE NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN SECTIONS 1.3, 1.4, AND 1.5 BELOW FOR DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, INCORRECT, OR LOST ORDERS, OR AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
This policy exists for health and safety reasons required by federal and state pharmacy law. Compounded prescription medications are prepared specifically for you as an individual patient and cannot be restocked or resold once dispensed. Outside of the exceptions described in Sections 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5, no returns or refunds can be made on dispensed prescription medications.
By purchasing a prescription product through Adegen, you acknowledge and accept that dispensed prescription medications are non-returnable and non-refundable except as described in Sections 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5.
1.2 Refunds When No Prescription Is Issued
If you complete a telehealth consultation and the Provider determines that a prescription is not appropriate for you, you will not be charged for prescription medication. Any consultation or platform fee charged at the time of intake will be refunded in full to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, unless otherwise disclosed at checkout.
If you were charged for a subscription prior to Provider review and the Provider does not issue a prescription, the subscription charge will be refunded in full. Your subscription will be automatically cancelled and you will receive a notification confirming the cancellation and refund.
1.3 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Prescription Orders
If your prescription order arrives damaged, defective, or containing an incorrect product or formulation, please contact us at support@adegen.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photographs clearly showing the issue.
We will investigate and, if the issue is verified, will arrange for a replacement shipment at no charge or issue a full refund to your original payment method, at our discretion. We may coordinate directly with the applicable licensed pharmacy to resolve quality issues. Please do not dispose of any damaged or defective medication before contacting us, as we may request that it be returned to the pharmacy for quality review.
1.4 Shipping Errors
If your prescription order is shipped to the wrong address due to an error on our part, we will reship the order at no charge once the error is confirmed. If the order was shipped to an incorrect address provided by you, we will work with you to resolve the issue, but Adegen is not responsible for medications shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please ensure your shipping address is current and accurate before your next processing date.
1.5 Lost or Undelivered Prescription Orders
If your prescription order has not been delivered within 14 days of your expected delivery date, please contact us at support@adegen.com. We will initiate a carrier investigation. If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will arrange for a replacement shipment or issue a refund at our discretion, subject to applicable pharmacy law regarding the reshipment of compounded medications.
2. OVER-THE-COUNTER PRODUCT POLICY
2.1 Return Window
Unopened over-the-counter (OTC) products in their original, undamaged packaging may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund of the product purchase price. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
To initiate a return, contact us at support@adegen.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns, as Adegen is not responsible for items lost in return transit.
2.2 Opened or Used OTC Products
Opened or used OTC products are not eligible for return due to health and hygiene reasons. If you experience an adverse reaction or quality issue with an opened OTC product, please contact us at support@adegen.com and we will evaluate your situation on a case-by-case basis.
2.3 Damaged or Defective OTC Products
If your OTC order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at support@adegen.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund at our discretion.
2.4 OTC Subscription Refunds
For OTC subscription orders, a refund for the most recent charge may be requested within 14 days of the charge date, provided the product has not yet shipped. Once an OTC subscription order has shipped, it is subject to the standard 30-day return policy for unopened products described in Section 2.1.
3. TELEHEALTH CONSULTATION AND PLATFORM FEES
3.1 Consultation Fees
Adegen's pricing model bundles the cost of the telehealth consultation and platform access into the subscription or product price. Separate standalone consultation fees, if charged, will be disclosed clearly at checkout.
If a standalone consultation fee is charged and the Provider does not issue a prescription, the consultation fee will be refunded in full as described in Section 1.2. If a prescription is issued and you choose not to proceed with the prescribed treatment, the consultation fee is non-refundable.
3.2 Follow-Up Consultations
Follow-up Provider consultations included as part of your active subscription are provided at no additional charge. If your subscription is cancelled, access to follow-up consultations will end at the conclusion of your current paid subscription period.
4. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATIONS
Subscription cancellation is governed by our Subscription Terms, which are incorporated here by reference. Key cancellation terms are summarized below for your convenience:
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard at adegen.com or by emailing support@adegen.com.
• Cancellations must be completed at least 48 hours before your next scheduled processing date to avoid being charged for the following period.
• If cancellation is requested within 48 hours of a processing date and the order has already been processed or shipped, the cancellation will take effect for the following billing cycle. The processed order will not be refunded except as provided in this policy.
• Upon cancellation of a prescription subscription, your prescription will be marked inactive and no further shipments will be sent after the current period ends.
• Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account. Account deletion may be requested separately at support@adegen.com.

5. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Adegen stands behind the quality and effectiveness of our formulations. We offer the following satisfaction guarantee for prescription subscribers:
If you have used your prescribed Adegen treatment consistently as directed for a minimum of 6 months and are not satisfied with your results, contact us at support@adegen.com with the subject line "Satisfaction Guarantee Request." We will work with your Provider to evaluate your treatment plan and explore adjustments to your formula, dosage, or treatment protocol.
If after a Provider-reviewed formula adjustment you remain unsatisfied, we will issue a refund of your most recent one-month subscription charge as a goodwill gesture. This guarantee applies once per customer per treatment course and is subject to the following conditions:
• You must have maintained an active prescription subscription for a minimum of 6 consecutive months
• Treatment must have been used consistently as directed by your Provider throughout the 6-month period
• The guarantee applies to the prescription topical or oral medication subscription only, not to OTC accessories or bundle add-ons
• The guarantee may not be combined with other promotional offers or discounts
This satisfaction guarantee is a goodwill gesture and does not modify the no-return policy for dispensed prescription medications stated in Section 1.1. It does not constitute a guarantee of hair regrowth or any specific clinical outcome.
6. REFUND PROCESSING
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Refund processing times are as follows:
• Credit and debit card refunds: 5 to 10 business days from the date of approval, depending on your card issuer
• Other payment methods: 5 to 10 business days from the date of approval
Adegen will send you an email confirmation once a refund has been approved and processed. If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of receiving a refund confirmation, please contact your bank or card issuer before contacting us, as processing times vary by institution.
Refunds are issued in U.S. dollars at the original transaction amount. Adegen is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or exchange rate differences that may apply.
7. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES
If you have a concern about a charge on your account, we encourage you to contact us at support@adegen.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly, and most concerns can be addressed directly without the need for a formal dispute.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Adegen may result in the suspension of your account pending resolution of the dispute. Adegen reserves the right to contest chargebacks that we believe are unwarranted, including by providing evidence of order fulfillment, prescription issuance, and applicable terms to the relevant payment processor or card network.
8. PROMOTIONAL ORDERS AND DISCOUNT CODES
Refunds for orders purchased using a promotional discount or coupon code will be calculated based on the actual amount paid after the discount was applied, not the full retail price. Discount codes and promotional credits are non-refundable and have no cash value.
If a promotional offer or discount code is applied to a subscription order, the promotional pricing applies only to the period specified in the offer. Subsequent billing cycles will be charged at the standard subscription price unless otherwise specified.
9. GIFT ORDERS
At this time, Adegen does not offer gift purchases for prescription products. OTC gift orders are subject to the standard OTC return policy in Section 2. The recipient of an OTC gift order may initiate a return by contacting support@adegen.com with the order number and proof of gift purchase.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Adegen reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you have a pending return or refund request at the time of a policy change, the policy in effect at the time of your original purchase will apply to that request.
