What Really Causes Hair Loss?
Most so-called "experts" are quick to point to a hormone called DHT as the main cause of thinning hair. While DHT plays a role, it’s only part of the picture.
The real key to understanding hair loss is recognizing that it’s actually a disease.
Think of it like cardiovascular disease: when blood flow to the heart is restricted, the heart can’t get the oxygen it needs to function properly. The same principle applies to hair loss.
DHT and other androgens attach to the hair follicle, cutting off the blood supply it needs to stay healthy and grow.
So yes, DHT does play a role.
But the real issue—the true reason hair follicles stop producing hair—is a lack of blood flow.

The Key To Regrowing Hair
After meeting with one of the world’s top dermatologists, our founder, John Goss, discovered a unique fatty acid that attaches to the androgen receptor in the hair follicle—the same place where DHT binds.

INSTRUCTIONS
Massage the ARB Shampoo onto wet hair. Using the SM Brush, vigorously brush your entire scalp especially in any thinning hair area.
This stimulates the scalp with increased blood flow and helps the active ingredients penetrate the epidermis to reach the hair follicle. Sufficient contact time is necessary - let sit for 5 minutes before rinsing.

Step 2: Micro-Abrasion

INSTRUCTIONS
Roll over any troubled areas 10-15 times. You can do so by going back and forth or in a criss-cross pattern.

How long does it take to get results?
Hair loss is simply caused by a blood flow restriction to the hair follicle.
That’s because our blood is what carries all of our vitamins, nutrients, and oxygen throughout our bodies and to all of our organs (yes hair follicles are organs).
The reason why Adegen is so successful is because it doesn’t focus on “growing hair.”
The body and hair follicle is naturally designed to do just that.
Adegen focuses on restoring health and normal blood flow back to the hair follicle because if you remove what’s causing the blood flow restriction at the hair follicle (it’s nutrient supply), the hair growth will take care of itself.
So with the first application of the Adegen ARB Shampoo, SM Brush, and ARB Topical Solution you are immediately reversing the cause that has led to thinning hair and hair loss.
However, just like how your hair loss began and before you could see it visibly, it took time to progress and it does take time to restore health back to your hair follicle.
The early anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle is 90-100 days on average.
So, it does take time and consistency before you will start to see the results.
This is why it’s also very important to take progress pictures regularly.
With that said, you can expect to start seeing noticeable changes about the 3 month mark and those results will continue to improve over the next several months.

What makes Adegen different?
This is probably one of the most important questions you can ask. Unfortunately, you cannot believe everything you hear. Especially in the hair loss industry.
There are so many products that make big promises and fail to deliver results. So I think it’s best for you to be extremely hesitant and do your due diligence and research on any company or product.

Is Adegen safe?
The most important question you should ask is, “is it safe?”. There are many products marketed as “natural” or “home-made” remedies implying that anything scientifically formulated is bad. But what you need to understand is that literally everything on earth is a combination of molecules from the periodic table. Everything when you look closely enough under powerful magnification are all “natural”.
Let’s take minoxidil for instance. This is the only ingredient considered an API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) in our product line. Minoxidil is the most widely used and tested hair growth ingredient in existence. Millions of men and women have used minoxidil.
Unfortunately, minoxidil doesn’t help with what’s causing the restriction of blood flow that is actually at the cause of hair loss, but it does have synergistic benefits with the other non-api ingredients in the ARB Topical Solution formula.
Large scale clinical studies have shown that 5% minoxidil solution has only 1.2ng/mL of minoxidil in the serum (aka how much goes into your bloodstream). Minoxidil has to have a serum concentration greater than 20 ng/mL to have any systemic effect (side effects outside of the topically applied area). A ng (nanogram) is one-billionth of a gram.
Therefore, there is more than a 16x times safety margin for the ARB Topical Solution–5, and a 5x times safety margin for the ARB Topical Solution–15 before it has any systemic side effects whatsoever.
Nonetheless, we are legally not allowed to offer any medical advice and always recommend you speak to your doctor or health care professional.
*As noted on the label, women who are pregnant or nursing are not advised to use anything containing minoxidil. The shampoo and brush and roller have no counter indications for pregnant or nursing however.
How do I use each product?

Our ARB Shampoo typically lasts for 60-90 days, depending on how often it is used and the amount applied.
As for the ARB Topical, each bottle typically lasts for 30 days when used as directed. Of course, these estimates may vary depending on individual usage patterns.
Will I have to continue using the products?
This is another common question we get.
The answer is if you’re experiencing hair loss or thinning hair it’s because your hair follicles are being restricted from blood flow.
So if you use Adegen and have great results by blocking the cause of hair loss and then you stop the treatment all together, you will eventually go back to your previous state.
Consider taking care of your hair part of your normal routine similarly to brushing your teeth. If you stop brushing your teeth you will have dental problems.
The same is true for any health care regimen.
With that said, we do have plenty of customers that maintain their regrowth by switching to using only the ARB Shampoo and SM Brushes.

This product is nothing short of a miracle!
I started thinning and receding at the age of 19 and by age 22 I had very thin weak hear and terrible hairline which had an enormous impact on my confidence and mental health.

I have been three months.I don't see any hair growth yet. I use the shampoo every morning.Try to leave it on up to ten minutes. I used the scrubbers for the scalp every time. I do not use the hair product that ate is in the
Dropper until after my day is finished. So I usually put that on my hair at about eight o'clock at night. I do not put it on my hair during the day. Because it makes it gummy, and it's hard to manage you. How make sure that it's good and dry before I go to bed. I used a little needle roller three times a week. I put the solution on my hair everynight. I still have some hair falling out that I find in the shower. I had thought that would have stopped by now. And i'm not noticing any hair growth yet.

Here are my 120 day progress photos. This is 0-30-60-90-120 day photos. It seems like things are starting to fill in more in the front above my forehead. When I compare the 0 day vs 120 day photos, it'such a difference! It seems like the crown area -- the most distressing area for me -- is starting to fill in a bit more. Overall, I am quite happy with my progress, especially since it's the only thing I've tried that is reversing my hair loss.
My protocol: I have been washing with the shampoo around twice a week, using the brushes; microneedling 3 to 4 times a week, and using the 5% serum nightly. I have missed a few nights here and there, perhaps once a week.
I'm trying to take photos in exactly the same light and camera position to show as accurately as possible the progress.
