Caffeine is a great example. It's one of the most underrated active ingredients for hair health. Studies show that 0.2% caffeine is roughly as effective as 5% minoxidil. So why haven't you heard about this? Because no one is going to spend $2 to $3 billion getting FDA approval for a compound they can't patent. There's no commercial incentive, so caffeine gets left out of the conversation.
I sent the top hair loss shampoos on the market to a lab for mass spectrometry testing, and even the ones that advertise caffeine were coming back at 0.01%. Just enough to make a label claim, nowhere near a therapeutic dose. Our shampoo contains 2% caffeine, which is the highest clinical dosage available in any shampoo on the market.
But caffeine is just one piece of the puzzle. Our formulas also include zinc and niacin, both of which support the scalp and help regulate sebum production so the follicle openings stay clear. We use menthol, eucalyptus, and peppermint, natural rubefacients that stimulate blood flow in the same way minoxidil does. Every ingredient is chosen and dosed to work synergistically with the others.
