Hair supplements are one of my biggest pet peeves. When I was going through my own hair loss journey, I tried every "hair growth vitamin" and supplement on the market. None of them worked, and there's a specific reason why.
The premise behind hair supplements is that you're deficient in vitamins or nutrients, and if you fix the deficiency, your hair will grow back. But that's not the actual problem. Most people already get plenty of nutrients through their normal diet.
The real issue is that the nutrients you're already consuming aren't reaching your hair follicle. DHT binds to the androgen receptor at the follicle and restricts blood supply, and blood supply is the delivery system for every nutrient that would otherwise support the follicle. It doesn't matter how many biotin capsules you take by the handful. You can't overwhelm a blood flow restriction with oral vitamins.
The only way to fix hair loss is to address the actual cause: the restriction of blood flow at the follicle. That means treating the problem topically, at the site where it's happening. That's what Adegen does, and it's why our system works when supplements don't.
